There wasn’t much to it, really. At least, not that one can recall.
In the dark a hard drive ticked inside its housing. It sounds like an insect.
Insectile, insectesque, yet there are no insects to speak of.
It is quiet. A deep, vast stillness interrupted by the soft ticking sounds which are coming from behind a blank touch panel.
